| Yes, my Katie is a BIG TIME crier. Codie just follows me down the stairs but Katie really cries. It breaks my heart.

| Ask Oprah Oprah's dog Sophie had that problem... The dog whisperer helped her...I only caught part of that show~ I know he said that Oprah caused a good bit of it...lol But not sure the specifics... He helped her alot.

| No, my two have never done this, it would also break me up if they did. I turn the TV on Animal Planet, give them a special treat, like a few Cheerios and assure them I will be back soon. They seem fine with that. When I return I go to them first, pet and play and let them out to potty. |

| Gus used to cry. He still does cry when I return from leaving him alone, but it's out of excitement. He pretty much knows when I'm leaving he sees me getting ready. By the time I get on my shoes or sandles on and shut the baby gates,,, he know for sure and makes a mad dash for his doggy bag. as if he's sayin,,,,, "your not leaving me here!" You should see his poor little face when I tell him "no Gus you have to stay" He just lays there either in his crate or on the sofa. I hate seeing him like that and try to take him when I can.

| Maximus has just started getting really bad with the crying when I leave ....lately when I am doing my hair in the morning he will whine and cry..I realized it is because he knows I am leaving soon (it is usually the last thing I do before I go in living room and close the gate)..I do spend 20 minutes behind the gate in the living room with im and usually give a treat chicken and rice stick or his filled kong (soemthing that will take at least a few minutes so I can get out the door before he realizes I am leaving) but the last few days have been HORRIBLE!!! He desn't want treats or toys or anything...he justs takes it in his mouth and puts it back on the floor and tries to jump back into my lap or climb on my legs (this is the only time he does this). This morning I waited outside the door to see if how long he cried and barked and it went on for 5 minutes...I was soo sad, I almost ran back in and grabnbed him and all his stuff to bring him to work but I was already late and I would've been late AGAIN....the thing is that he isn't left alone alot...only 2 days a week and then only for 8:30-12:30 (4 hours) and then 1:30-4 pm (2-1/2 hours)...he is with someone 24/7 for 5 days out of the week...I don't understand whats happening and all of a sudden.... I am soo sad for him

| I think they get used to it, and much like us, they have their good and bad mood days. Coco used to do this a lot, but it's like all of sudden she stopped. She will still give me that "You are not seriously leaving me AGAIN are you?" look but she doesn't bark or whimper. When I come home is when the crying starts. She cries for like 3 minutes, I think out of happiness to see me. One time I just stood out there, when she used to cry. I wanted to see how long the crying goes on for. It didn't even last 2 minutes and she was out like a trout. You mom probably heard her barking before she got to the door, because Lexi probably heard a car and thought it was you. I get sad all the time, but it's like what do you do? I know I can afford to keep another yorkie but don't have the initial purchase money. I have to work, I can't stay home and I can't take her with me. So i have no other options. Once I move though my roomate will check on her at lunch time because she works in the same city as our apartment.

| Poor little Katie My poor Katie cries her heart out. It makes me so sad. I hope she eventually grows out it - I can't take too much more.

| You know I've actually thought about that...i'm crazy...I wanted to install a camera that feeds to my work computer. But somehow I have a feeling that my work wouldn't appreciate that. I'm sure Lexi heard the car. You would be amazed at what they hear. Coco has Animal planet on and she's in the far back half of my room. I always listen and hear nothing. As soon as my key goes into the door, she barks or whines. A car is much louder and even with all of the noise, I bet she heard it.

| It's probably safe to assume we'd jump out of our cube and yell "NO! (Dogs name)" and everyone would think your hallucinating.
