| ![]() Right now, this is Jackson's World! He rules the roost around here. I'm so scared that if I get another one, I'll ignore him for a while and just focus on the new baby. Did this happen to anyone of you when you brought a new baby home? I have a lot of love to give but I don't want to ignore my first baby. ![]()

| ![]() I was worried about A.J being jealous when I brought KaCee home. I made sure to not ignore him and give the new baby all the attention. I also started treating and praising all the simple things he does on an everyday basis (like sitting by the door when he needs out, pottying outside, sitting when he brought me a toy, etc..) They've been together almost 4 months now and they are the best of friends! ![]()

| ![]() Introducing a new furbaby into the home is just like bring a new baby home. You have to use finesse and make sure the siblings get plenty of attention and positive reinforcement.....and also watch their interaction like a hawk in the beginning. |

| ![]() Our Oliver has adjusted to his baby sister with no problem...it took all of about a day for them to start romping about and playing together. He loves her...he comes over to her x-pen to check on her when she is in there for puppy nap time!! He will always be our number one ![]() ![]()

| ![]() Someone on here recently had to give #2 away because #1 was just going into a depression. I read about it yesterday. But I tell you I am sure most times it works out.

| ![]() I was worried that Kalina would be heartbroken when I got Matty Lu, but quite the opposite. She LOVES her little sister now and the adjustment wasn't that bad. I love that she has someone to keep her company when I'm not home. All they do is play, play, play....sometimes I think they forget I'm even here. Two is a lot of fun and twice as much love. ![]() Go for it!

| ![]() I just went thru this. I have been wanting a lil girl as a playmate for my 1 y o 3 pounder Duncan. I found Piper and knew she was the one. The first few days were as I expected, Duncan turned into this HUGE green eyed monster, but, we all gave him alot of extra attention and did for him the exact same as we gave her. now He loves his sister and they play all the time, altho hes still a selfish lil git, he wants all the toys and mostly wants the ones she manages to find. But he has learned alot from her as she has from him. Its been the best thing I could have done for him and for us. Is that #3 I hear knocking???? Good Luck and remember: Yorkies are like potato chips, you can never have just one! Elizabeth Duncan and Piper ![]() ![]() |
