| ![]() Can some of you post pics of the back of bows and barrettes? I am trying to get Penny used to them but she doesnt have much hair yet. I need to know which hold the best. I also need to see what the back clip part looks like. Thanks ![]()

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | ![]() Here's a good link for putting on topknots. http://www.thedivadogbowtique.com/howto.php She also has tips for getting a puppy use to the bow. Before you add a bow or a barrette, you should use a small latex band. I use ¼ inch bands. Most of my bows have the same type of latex band connected to the back. They usually come with 2 bands in case one breaks. This link http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=122044 has a picture of barrettes.

| ![]() I have never put Roxi in barrettes yet and shes 8 months, but I want to!!! I bought some little clips once but they didnt look right... I think I may just get the regular colored plastic ones.. I watched a Petfinder on Animal Planet the other day and there was a Yorkie who I would swear was mine!! They looked exactly the same!!! Anyway, she had just one of those plain plastic barresttes and it looked adorable!! I just don't know where to find them!

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | ![]() Not sure what exactly you mean, but Target, Walmart, even the Grocery stores sells barrettes made for little girls that can be used. Here's some items that Goody makes sold at local stores. http://www.oecsupply.com/GOODYPRICE%20LIST%202EMAIL.pdf

| ![]() what I would do, if she is still young and not very used, start using only grooming bands... once she leaves them alone, start using little puppy bows on bands, very light and small... and after that, switch to barrettes. In my opinion, they last longer, and are easier to place or replace if you use a grooming band under the barrette, that way you just cut the band and don't hurt the hair, and your bow is still usable!!!

| ![]() I don't know what they are called exactly, I don't have kids and I think they are children's barrettes... They are plastic and come in a bunch of different colors, they also have little animal on I think???.....

| ![]() I just added a new alligator clip option to my bows in addition to the standard bands or french clip. So far the feedback has been very positive. It's a good option for a squirmy puppy. ![]() This is what the back looks like: |
