| BIGGGGG SCARE and help needed... Well, not to make a long story... The kids went to a friend's house (have been going in and out all week of course!) and like 20 min after they left... I went downstairs and couldn't find Juan anywhere... called, screamed, and nothing... only Luna, the door bad closed, the gate open, and the kids gone... I went crazy, got the car, found a couple neighbors outside, and we were looking for him... for an hour at least, like 3 neighborhoods... no dog... I started crying, screaming at the boys for leaving the door open... Sent the boys inside and went out on the car again... came back, no dog, and I find my youngest telling me the dog was in the garage and that he could not move... I went there, and my little pretty long haired stud was trapped on a glue mouse trap! Well, in other circumstances, I would be very upset because of that... but I just said thanks to God, everything is fine, neighbors were notified, and I have a long coated yorkie all sticky with glue from the mouse trap... Now, the big question... Anybody has idea how to remove some of it, to not have to cut all the hair???????? I don't know if I want to cry or laugh... I am way overstressed... Oh by the way, he was not wearing his tags... so big lesson here, USE THE TAGS EVEN WHEN INSIDE, and I only thought THANKS GOD I MICROCHIPPED HIM!!!!!!!!!!!

| I would try an orange based cleaner. Coat the hair well then wash with shampoo. It is worth a try. Don't use a strong cleaner so you don't hurt his skin. But the orange based cleaners are made to remove sticky residues.

| I really dont mean to laugh at your story but it reminds me how curious yorkies are. i fuss at mine all the time they like to get into everything. They also like the garage I cant leave the door open because if i do they are in there. But I am glad to hear that your Baby is safe and o.k. I really do not know how you would get that glue off. Have you tried to google-it. |

| OMG!!!!! This MUST have freaked you out!!!! Thank God Juan was not lost. I really don't know of anything to take out the glue, but maybe rubbing alcohol. Or maybe you could call the 1-800 number on the glue trap for help. So glad everything worked out okay.

| Try Baby Oil. To remove the sticky glue left from when you peel a label off, you can use vegetable oil to loosen it. I don't know if baby oil or something safe for your furbaby would work, but it might and baby oil shouldn't harm him. |

| Try peanut butter or use cooking oil. It will break down the glue.

| please try the cooking oil or peanut butter BEFORE the googone or orange based cleaner. Both can be toxic.

| the same thing (sorta...only without the gluey trap) happened to me last week. dh left the door going into the garage open, i was cooking dinner. I called for one of my girls and she wouldn't come. I started looking everywhere and had my dd looking everywhere. I checked my bedroom, bathrooms, upstairs...and then I just started RUNNING around the neighborhood. asking neighbors. crying. called dh and cried to him. he had no idea he had left the door open..and honestly, it was only cracked open. anyway, long story short, my dd came running after me saying that she found her in my bedroom. She was laying next to a pair of black shoes at the foot of my bed and neither of us saw her!!! she blended in too well LOL she was ok of course...totally sleepy...but my heart hurt and I thought I was about to die LOL please let us know if you find anything to work on getting the sticky stuff out. I'll be curious

| I'm so glad you found him and he is ok. The peanut butter should work.
