| Will This Hurt Him? I found this out the other day and had to run to my one family who will understand... I found out that Laura's Mom that has Mi and Koda's other brother his name is Bandit that all they feed him is popeyes chicken .. Now I don't know if many of you know what that is or not but it is a chicken place that serves greasy fried chicken .. At first i thought they just gave him the meat but they give him the skin and all .. Then I found out ANYTHING they eat he eats.. Ice Cream, Cakes, Candy any type of food she cooks .. I'm really mad an aggervated about this.. The only time he eats dog food is when there at work and she was talkin like he barely eats it then.. he is 5months old and that last time he went to the vet he weighed 3.8lbs but that was a while ago.. His coat looks crazy kinda stand up and feels hard.. But now she is talkin about breeding him .. He just got over a tap worm they said he got from eating a bug out side .. I guess what I am askin is Can they way they feed him really hurt him ? I mean he looks like a happy puppy except for his crazy lookin coat and I would NEVER feed mine this way.. I am really upset about this. What do yall think?! |

Donating YT 7000 Club Member | as hha said, that food is bad for humans, imagine what its doing to that little dog. At the rate they are going, he will die - and soon. They need to cut off all people food right now to save his chance of a future.

| It can absoultly hurt him besides the affects it will have on his weight and skin and overall health he could get very sick from a rich diet like that even if he is use to and i think when ppl feed like that they tend to forget what is ok and what is not maybe you could print off a few horror stories about bad diets and good diet theards from here and show her the affect his diet could have on him and the postive it can have from feeding the right way i know ppl have different oppions on dog food but this might be a nonintursive way to educate her on a really bad habbit i hope things get better |

| I think you're absolutely right to be worried about this little guy! I'm surprised he hasn't already developed pancreatitis. Is there anyway that you could talk to them about it? |

I tried.. I feed mine LA and I brought her some of that to try him on even had Linda send her some.. She says he don't like it.. She doesn't wanna spend alot of money on dog food. I don't spend alot of money on food i mean my god i spend 30$ every 2 and half months WTH!! And they eat one of the best foods around!! . I know She bought him some Science Diet before and she says he don't like it.. When I had mine on Royal K9 she said he liked that at first but then didn't like it.. But she seems to think unless he has his face in the bowl 24/7 he don't like it .. I am sorry but i have spent 1100$ for my dogs and I can't see my self slowly killing them like she is doing to him and it is killing me .. I told her the stuff there feeding him isn't good for him he is too little for all that.. She thinks im being mean b/cuz her dog is smaller then mine .. Mi is 5.5lbs and koda is an even 4lbs.. So she thinks I am just mad hers is smaller!! When I am tring to help She asked me how do i get Mi andKodas coat so pretty and I told her the type of brush they have and what not and Now i thought about it.. Mi and Koda it good food and get vitamins Everyday.. there food helps there coat! no wonder Bandit looks a mess I | |

| Well, he doesn't want dog food, because he's had people food..once you start feeding people food, they won't eat their own food, makes them very picky...this is why mine hardly ever get treats, and very seldom get any people food, except, one little bite of baked white chicken meat or veggies occasionally... |

| Definitely NOT good for him. I sneak mine an occassional table scrap, but its insane to feed them that stuff on a daily basis! It can most definitely affect the way coat looks. Even going from a low grade food (like Pedigree.. before I knew better) to Chicken soup, ALL my dogs coats improved greatly!!! If she continues to feed him that mess, he probably won't live past 5.
