| yes it was the glucose that he needed. thanks for your concerns. we were not aware of this critical trait that is abundent in yorkies. all the research we had done online and in the pet book did not stress this issue. we only want whats best for the little guy. |

Give nutrical or nutristat 3x a day, feed 4x a day, don't get him overly stressed, tired or cold. Most outgrow it by 4 months, but it usually comes up again if they stop eating, vomit or have diarrhea for any reason. I can't believe your breeder didn't stress it. Most even send home a tube of nutrical. | |

| the breeder mentioned it and sent us home w/ a tube of the nutrical. the whole episode happened during the night and we didn't know anything was wrong until the morning. apparantly he had gotten himself so worked up during the night and didn't eat anything and ...well...you know the rest. the breeder has him now and is getting him 100%. i don't know if we'll be able to handle taking him home again. it was really difficult to see him in that state. |
