| Help please Hi, my name is Julie and live in Swansea Wales UK. I do not have a Yorkie I am doing this for a relative. One month ago while my cousin had his Yorkie out on his lead a Staffordshire Bull terrier was roaming the streets, attacked and killed his beloved Tiza. As you can imagine he is devastated. He has been asking friends and family if they think he should wait before looking for a new one. My question is: do this forum have breeders on this site that would know (if I give details of Tiza's pedigree, sire & dam) details of Tizas siblings etc as he would like to have a descendant. He loved Tiza's characteristics etc & thought that if the breeder was still breeding maybe even have a the same parents. I am new to this so apologies if I have rabbled on a bit too much. Many thanks Julie |

| I'm not sure if anybody here would know but if she was registered, you can contact the registry and they should have all of that information on file. Good luck!

| help please Hi Diana, 'registry' do you mean the KC. If yes I have rang them but they can't help because of data protection, or do you mean somewhere else? sorry to be a dim wit. Any advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks Julie |

| I assume so. I don't really know what the registries in the UK are. We have AKC (American Kennel Club) and others like that here in the US. They won't let you see the pedigree of your dog? That's strange... Sorry I'm not really much help. Maybe someone who is more knowledgeable will come along and reply. ETA--- sorry, just re-read your post. If you have a registered dog, there's no reason why they shouldn't allow you to see the name of the breeder. Did your cousin not keep the information of the breeder of his dog? Can't he just call them and buy another one?

| help Hi again Diana, hope I'm not boring you but let me explain..... He purchased Tiza from Somerset (couple of hundred miles from Swansea) but he originated from Cardiff (50 Miles) he only discovered this when he saw his papers, all that's on his papers are: Sire Mr D Morris from Cwmbach.... Wales again Dam Mr G williams Newport Rd Cardiff.... We have exhausted our directory information etc, that's why I thought a forum may help.. I gave the KC (just like the one you have in the USA) I have the pedigree document numbers the registration of both Sire & Dam, but because of Data protection no go I'm afraid. Thanks for all your suggestions and sorry to keep bothering you. I'm just trying to help my cousin by doing all the "leg" work, because I know that if he starts seeing pics of all your fur babies he would get upset. Julie |
