| Web Site Offers Amber Alerts For Dogs Don't know if the was already posted but I thought I'd post incase it wasn't. SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. -- An Arizona man has created the world's first Web site that features Amber Alerts for dogs and allows pet owners to get involved in social networking. VIDEO: Social Site For Dogs, Owners Dognamic.com's Web site creator Stryker Lampe said visitors can upload video, create blog posts and use other tools to engage a community. Lampe said the site was built to help pet owners. "(It's) the first ever Amber Alert for dogs," site creator Stryker Lampe said. "I wanted to come up with a system that was simple and completely free that allowed people, that if their dog went missing, they would be able to help each other in the search to find the lost animal." Users pick the number of miles they want their Amber Alert to be viewed within their zip code. http://www.democraticunderground.com...ss=389x3033497 |
