| How much time each day does your baby spend playing with toys? Hi everyone! Lulu doesn't really like toys and will only play with her Krackle Jax from Amber maybe for 20 minutes each day. The rest of the time she likes to sit in her napsak from Cindy and rest or take a nap. She is 2.5 years old. Is this normal? I try to get her to play with the million toys she has but she will pick one up, look at it, maybe play with it for 30 seconds and then march toward her napsak again. The other day at her first playgroup meetup, I noticed most of the other dogs playing chase or just running around together and Lulu seemed nervous. I know she is not used to playing with other dogs since she is my only dog but she kind of seemed overly cautious. Do you have any ideas for helping me to get Lulu to play more? I would greatly appreciate any advice!! Thanks, Colleen |

| Has she always been like this since the first time you got her?? Riley normally wakes up around 8am, plays until around 12. After that he takes a 2-3 hour nap. Lol. Then he stays up until around 10ish. Riley sometimes doesn't play much, but not all the time. If you don't take Lulu out alot then she might just be skittish about new environments. Riley use to be really bad about shaking and being scared. Now hes gotten alot better. |

Phantom Queen Morrigan Donating Member | Morgan is going to be 2 soon and she doesn't play too much by herself anymore. She'll gladly play with me or anybody else for that matter, and she'll play with other dogs & cats. Most of the time tho she is either following me around or laying on the couch sleeping. she leads a tough life. she's also not a big chewer. very rarely will she sit down and chew something for more then a minute or two.

| Yes, Lulu never really got into playing. She does like to sit on someone's lap or on her bed. She doesn't like loud noises either. She doesn't get out as much in the winter here because it gets pretty cold but in the summer we get her out a lot. She is litter box trained so she doesn't have to go outside to go potty. I don't take her outside unless it is in the mid to upper forties. Quote:

| My boy would play 24/7 given the choice, I just have two other yorkies and a son that need attention as well. He gets soooo jealous if I give attention to anyone else and just stares at me wondering why I am not playing with him.

| How about tug-a-war or throwing a mini ball for her, will be great fun for both of you or you could teach her to lay peek-a-boo with 1 of her baby blankies or any small towel, you both will bond more and have a ball.I have 2 the same size around 3 pounds so they are inseperable and play about 6 hours out of 24! |

YT 1000 Club Member | Kitty only plays when someone that she doesn't know comes to her with a toy. She only likes to get random things and pull them under my bed or in the hallway to chew on. But within a couple minutes, she gets bored and look for something else. But she does love a toy called 'Kitty Go Crazy' from were I work, which is the reason why I call her crazy. |

| Pixie spends quite alot of time running around with a toy in her mouth..but then she's still a puppy (9months) she has one toy that she can 'squeak' by herself..it's quite loud and she always seems to play with that if i'm watching a movie or i'm on the phone...

| Tootsie would play non stop if I would play with her. She loves nothing better than a ball game. Her and Teddy chase each other around the house every once in a while, but because of these cold Winter days, they haven't been outside much, and take a lot of naps. I think once the warm weather gets here, things will change. By the way, I am very close to you, just across the river. Janice |

| Ellie is 6 and she plays all the time. Sometimes she sleeps because she likes to play with people and if I'm ignoring her, she just naps. If I start playing ball or she brings it to me and I agree to play, she does for about 10 or 20 minutes and then rests awhile. She could play rest play rest play rest all day. If she is bored (which is often), she will bark out the window to entertain herself or beg for food.
