YT 1000 Club Member | White Patch Of Hair On One Ear Kitty has a large white patch of hair on her left ear. When I first got her, She had a scab there, but within a couple weeks the scab fell off or was scratched off. Now in that area, the hair grows pure white (not silver/blue).. I will try to post pictures but it's hard to get a shot to show the whiteness. Has that happen to anyone else? |

| It happened to chachi but not white hair but black even though the rest of the hair was silver. this happened when he lost hair due to mange

| Many places and they all came back black instead of silver

YT 1000 Club Member | is it still black or did it eventually turn back silver? It makes it seem as if she doesn't have hair in that area when you look at her. Everyone ask what happened to her ear. I'm hoping it turns tan like the rest of her head. |

| It turned silver I cant remember how long it took. It was two yrs ago

| how old is she? their hair will change until they're 2-3 years old..ginger is 7 1/2 mo. and the top of her head and her back doesn't look silver to me, it looks white also..but, I think my other yorkie did that around that age too |

| My first one did, she's 5 now, and the new one I have that is 7 1/2 mos(she was born July 31st), has got a lot of that whitish color on her...most of her head, a little patch on her chest, and going all down her back.. |
