Isn't it ironic this is your 1st post?!? What's SAD is someone trying to charge $10,000 for a dog that is impossible to be 5 oz at 4 months old, with NO health guarantee, no proof she is that size, no registry, and a NON refundable down payment! And it's EXACTLY!

This thread just makes me sad. I don't like picking on anyone. I think there's probably a more constructive way to let people know that she's most likely dishonest, greedy and you won't get the puppy you're promised. E-mailing her back and forth will just waste YOUR time and she won't care.

Agreed. It is wrong what she is doing, no doubt. It isnt wrong to inquire with her and find out what her reasoning is. The games are immature though. I can fall into that easily as well, I am not without blame. It is tempting to be like that to someone who is obviously scamming people, but it doesnt make it right.

They are not playing a game...they have been inquiring...we have just been joking about how to respond. I don't think she is going to tell the person that she is really a porn star. We were just goofing trying to make light of a disgusting situation.

The person is definitely a scammer. Every return email she/he sends seems to reinforce that.

Don't see how they are scamming this obviously greedy and shady seller. The OP is not the person trying to get $5k non-refundable deposit for a dog that they can't get solid information or pictures on. They are inquiring and drawing out more information to see how real he/she is. If the person were a real honest seller there would be no problem getting the basic information they are inquiring about in regards to this pup.

I agree with Woogie man. Sometimes I really wonder..... I remember a big thread where quite a few people were encouraging someone to STEAL their neighbors yorkie, because it wasn't kept up to our standards. I was very suprised, I guess, that admin never stopped that.

I also just wanted to say that I LOVE THIS THREAD. I dont think its childish. I think its HILARIOUS. this woman is utterly ridiculous and we are just poking around trying to figure out just how ridiculous she is... she certainly has put her foot in her mouth several times. it is comedic GOLD, but I honestly feel sorry for her dogs...

also, um, the woman who was emailing her wanted to know what to say she did as a job.. i say use my profession...lol im writer so I stay home most of the time writing.. but then you can have meetings or conferences etc where you need to be outside the house -or- you can teach as well at the undergrad or graduate school level part time

So since you don't offer any health gaurentee, does your vet do testing on the pups to rule out ALL genetic illnesses? I just really justify spending so much more then what yorkies normally cost, Especially since vet bills can be costly, and if the dog did end up with something, the owner already paid $10,000 on the dog, and that could actually go to the vet bills and keeping the puppy alive! I was also wondering why you don't screen for livershunt since it is so common in these little guys, is there anyway you know if they are going to be sick? I'm sure you care about them, and you don't want them to be sick, so wouldn't it be better if you screened the parents to make sure there's not going to be sick puppies? I know I'm asking a lot of questions, it's just for $10,000 I could get probably 10-15 yorkies so I truly want to make sure I am getting a healthy little puppy that won't have any problems. Also, how are the temperaments of the parents and their past puppies? I actually work at a bank, my husband works for a corporation and we are in are early 40's. What do you do for a living? How old are you?

Can't wait to hear back from here, and her excuses.
