| OK, OK, YES I have.... I give them all naural human grade canned food once a day. This stuff is awesome! You can literally see each piece of food which is chicken, peas, carrots, rice and gravy/au jus(?). It's a little bland but otherwise just as good as what I could cook for them!!! The brand name is: WERUVA They have a variety of flavors to choose from - mine like: *Funky Chunky - Chicken Soup Paw Lickin Chicken - Chicken Soup Steak Frites - Beef & Potato They have others but I'm just trying one at a time. Oh and I've only found it at Healthy Tails so far.

| I've only tasted a cookie from a gourmet dog bakery (barkery) that had no meat ingredients (it tasted VERY bland...although it clearly smelled like peanut butter....I was dissapointed, but Tia wasn't). Funny story, last week my hubby's friend was over (picture a really big Italian guy, gold chain, tight white shirt, greased back hair...this guy is huge!) I was occupied with Tia because our doorbell rang, hubby was in the basement getting more drinks, Rocco comes into the hallway with Tia's tupperware container in his hand, crunching on her kibble asking me what kind of snack it was (we're on a health kick in our home). I couldn't believe it! He was happily eating dog food! This is the same guy who took a bight out of a wax pear candle at our wedding and said "This fruit doesn't seem right!" LOL

| I tasted dog food when I was really little, for some reason I thought it would taste like chocolate, it didn't and I was disgusted!!! Now I know you guys are going to make fun of me, my friends and family can't believe this, but I usually taste most of their treats before I give them to them, dont eat them, but just taste them. I know that the frosting on the baked treats tastes like real frosting, and the cheesey pupperoni taste like beef jerky

| Phantom Queen Morrigan Donating Member | i won't touch the kibble or wet food or any processed treats no matter how "good" they smell. I have however eaten a yogurt drop, which just tastes like yogurt LOL and i've tried the treats that i bake and that others here bake. I tried one of Diggy's Kisses before morgan did because it smelled good. tasted ok too, a little bland for my taste but morgan LOVED it.

| Hmmm... we must have a different sense of smell. Dog food makes me gag. I don't know how it could smell good (although to be honest the smell of meatloaf makes me gag too...lol). BUT my oldest daughter use to eat it everyday... for a long time... like not just the toddler years. The doc actually told us there was something in it she was needing... whatever... it was freaky and she would find it whereever we put it! I was talking to my breeder friend and she did the same thing... up to age 10. They are both very "communing" with animals kind of people...way beyond normal pet / people relationships.... I swear my daughter is a dog psychic or something...lol... was it the pet food? or is that what made her want it? lol |
