| ![]() Have any of you ever had this problem? My hubby and I were driving with Bear (Yorkie) and Lulu (Maltese). About 1 hour in, Lulu peeped on my lap ![]() ![]() |

| ![]() I was bummed but I couldnt help but smile, either, at the funny things puppies do! I was surprised that she would do it, though, our Yorkie would at least try and warn us of an impending peep.... well maybe Maltese are different! |

| ![]() Guess I would look at the circumstances. General rule of thumb is that the puppy can hold his/her pee/poo 1 hr. for each month he/she is old. IMO that would apply to being crated/ex-pen or sleep time. When there is excitement (i.e. car-ride, playtime) that rule bites the dust, so to speak. Then there's a chance of piddle as soon as 15 minutes. Again this is only IMO. ![]()

| ![]() I've never been peed on in the car, but once Tucker was whining to go out in the middle of the night. So I jumped up to take him out and he peed on me while we were headed out. It didn't bother me and I was proud of him for telling me first. Of course, I wasn't wearing anything nice, I had a change of clothes and I wasn't in the car at a filthy gas station ![]() |

| ![]() Linus peed on my lap about an hour into a car ride too! It happened when he was little, and about six months ago, and he has never done it again. |

| ![]() I always put a small blanket on my lap when any of my dogs are on my lap... just as a precaution... I've had one or two of them decide to "throw up" while sitting on my lap watching TV. ![]() When my dogs ride in the car they are always in a crate... a few have sensitive stomachs... usually have "clean up" in crate by the time I get to my destination. I guess you are lucky it wasn't diarrhea, eh? ![]()

| ![]() Scooter did that once as a puppy. The only good thing about it was that we were at the beach and I had on a bathing suit...however, it was a rather strange sensation running down my leg ![]() |
