| She bit him! Okay as some of you may know i rescued a 7 y/o yorkie about 3 or so weeks ago. Well today she just started snapping at Kevin(b/f) she even bit him!!!! this is all really unlike her.. Also she has been randomly attacking the other female yorkies.. she LOVES to play with the males but is not fond of the females. Any advice on what to do?

| Oh wow, something like this happen to me about 2 yrs ago....but the Yorkie was at my house for 2 days to see how he got along with my other 2 females I had at that time. Well on day 2 he was sitting on the back rest of the sofa I was sitting on, I got up to get something and all of a sudden he attacked me from behind and tried to bite me but bit the thick rubber of my snicker. Lucky for me my girlfriend was also there and she grabbed him from behind cause he was going to come at me again. I had to call the owner right away to come and pick him up I could not take the chance of him attacking my girls specially my oldest Buffy with a bad heart. One hour later he was gone. So my advice unless you know how to handle and change this behavior problem (which I don't) I would not take the chance.

Donating YT 1000 Club Member | It is so true that she wants to be alpha. If you can work with her and know how to stop the behavior it is well worth the time it takes. All 7 of my dogs will challenge once and awhile. With dogs running between 3.9 LBS and over 14 LBS I have to make sure they always know I'm alpha and there is no room for a second in command. I hope you can work it out.
