| Welcome to YT. What in the world is a Silverback Yorkie? i recently had an acquaintence tell me she had "rare" silverheads. Once I got to talking to her, I realized she was only talking about the lighter ones. I told her I have a house full of "Silverheads" LOL So just what is a "silverback"? |

| Silverback... I was told that a Silverback is one that has turned predominatly all silver. Some may say all blonde. Usually darker at the roots but really light at the top... Not the traditional Blk and Tan... Still Looking!! Thanks Sandy |

Blue/gold is the color they are supposed to be. The lighter blue ones do look silver. Just don't let anyone try to get more money from you saying they are 'rare'. They aren't or I would be rolling in money. Good luck with your search. | |

YT 1000 Club Member | It would be great to look for an older one that is already the color you want (but they can still change). Getting one that is young can change any color even if they showed promise to the color you wanted. |
