| long legs My yorkie has long legs. When we first took him to the vet they said he would be about 6 lbs. When I took him back, at 5 months, for his last shot he weighed about 6 lbs.. The vet commented on his long legs. The vet said if he grows into his legs he will be about 12 lbs. His dad had long legs, but not this long. He is almost 8 months old and weighs between 6-7 lbs. He hasn't grown at all since that last vet visit. I do like him having long legs. He loves to take walks with me and can walk for quite a distance. I think its because of his long legs. I just want him to stay the way he is. He has a great personality and a nice size. Does anyone else have a long legged yorkie? |

| some have the short little legs, and some have the longer legs...The yorkie I used to have that my brother and s-i-l has now, has the long legs, but, other than that, she's very petite, right under 5 lbs. |

| That sounds like Loki. He has super long legs and he is about 11-12 lbs (he SHOULD be 11, little porker) Anyway I love his size. Loki's back (collar to tail) is only 2-3 inches longer than Sammy's, but she is 6lbs and has short legs and a tiny frame. And yes, Loki LOVES to walk!

Living My Yorkie Dream Donating Member | My Lexie is 10 lbs. She is long-legged and very lean. I compare her to those tall, thin models on the runways! BEAUTIFUL!
