| Companion for Riley Hello all, I have an 8 month old Yorkie, named Riley. He is very dominant around his brother and another older Yorkie, at my moms house, but is very docile around me. I am interested in getting him a companion but am unsure about what to get. I am very interested in adopting a small dog, but want to know what to look for when I do decide to do this. I know that I should definitely get a female due to his dominance. Are there certain breeds that Yorkie get along with best, other terriers? Bigger breeds such as labs? Your advice, as always, would be hugely helpful!!! Thank you so much!!

| I think it is more about personality than breed. Look for a dog that is really submissive/passive, certainly not alpha of the litter. Two dominant dogs might give you problems.
