| OMG she had 2 puppies Oh my God she had 2 pups someone please let me know if it is over. She had the 2nd one half hr after the first is it over it has been 1hr and a half since the 2nd one. They are both attached to her teats and they are fine. She is resting. Do you think it's over? I do not know what happened I thought if Saturday went by it was over. It is now Monday and she gave birth this morning. Wow it was really amazing. She knew exactly what to do and she had no complications. She did not even cry so that I could know that she was giving birth. I posted on my other thread but I guess no one really wanted to answer me so I guess that if I put a new one someone will answer. Thanks everyone I was prepared that is what really got me through this. |

| Baby Puppies I wish I knew more to help you... So I gather you never knew from the start how many pups may be there? My breeder had an ultrasound done to at least know how many spines were present.... I know Labor can take awhile...and you can see if you feel another puppy at all....But ... It wouldn't hurt to grab her up and take her into the vet this morning to have the pups looked over and Mommie Doggie... Let us know...

| Congratulations! Now you have your new puppy and one to share with your friend. Are they boys, girls. I think that she is probably finished. If she seems fine and happy and normal, then just keep your eyes on her. I had someone stay with Zowie the entire first day. Can you take off work, someone should be around for the first few days, too. If you don't have a scale, it would be a good idea to track one down. I had one puppy who did not gain any weight for the first 4 days. If you don't have one, maybe your vet would let you just bring them by for a weight check. Also, it is time to decide if you want to have their tails docked - around day 3 or 4. You can go ahead and make that appointment, too - and have them re-weighed. Be sure you are feeding mom extra. I gave mine cottage cheese - about 3 tbl per day for extra calcium and calories.

| I have raised dogs most of my life but it always throws me when they have had their pups and it still feels as if there is one left inside. Maybe I've just been feeling the still swollen uterus. I've only had Yorkies a little over a year and one litter a little while back. I freak over everything! They are so small. Sylvia |

| Congrats! Wow puppies! Congrats...I'm so jealous, well not of the mess, just of the cute puppies. I was just curious about something. How come you didn't take her to the vet to know for sure if she was pregnant before? Why put yourself through the agony of waiting for something to be born or not? I hope I didn't offend you, I was just curious because I know you've been nervous about it.

| Oh my! I know from your photo that the mother of the pups has long hair. I'd cut that back so the pups don't get strangled in it. It is a sacrifice for the sake of the pups. Glad to hear it went without complications! No one here can tell you for sure that there aren't any more pups in there, just that she is probably done. I take the mother and pups to the vet within 24 hours and have the vet check them all. He will tell you if there is any more. You will have to make another appointment for the tails and dew claws to be removed for when they are 3-5 days old. Make sure the mother is eating good. Keep us updated please and let us know what sex the pups are. |

| That's cute! No, dogs are not like that at all. Good thing, or a lot of them wouldn't be alive today! |

| I saw this and had to read it. Did she not gain very much weight? Is that why you did not know she was preg? If not then she might not have any more puppies in her. I would have mommy and babies checked out, Just in case. How excited and worried you must be. |

| When Bridget had her puppies the first two came right after each other. The next two where two hours apart! We knew they were there from the x-ray, but if we hadnt we never would've known. She seemed fine...napped, fed babies and cleaned them. I would take her to the vet to make sure
