| Again these are always sad sad cases... but they never charge anyone enough to make it stop... 10 years in prison might deter it somewhat,... I am glad she got caught.. for the sake of the dogs.. |

| Shut one down, five more pop up. It's amazing how little knowledge, IMO, the public has about puppy mills and byb. That's what keeps them going.

| puppy mills I am always amazed when someone tells me they have never heard about puppy mills. They are in the news and I would think everyone would know about them. I take every opportunity to tell people about them. When my therapy Bichon, Cosmo, and I were at the library on Wednesday, I mentioned my little puppy mill rescue Chihuahua, Kozanna, and a couple of the women had never heard of puppy mills. I carry pictures of all of my pets because the kids are interested in Cosmo's family, so I showed them Kozanna's picture and told them about puppy mills. I wish there were a better way to raise public awareness. |

Luvs Lulu Donating Member | Oh jeeze she just got overwhelmed...yeah sure with the amount of money she could make. These people really need to get at least a quarter of a million dollar fine or a damn 5 year jail sentence.

| I live in IL too... I know where Peotone is. it's tempting to hope this kind of stuff happens anywhere but your home state, but it's everywhere Teresa |
