Beat the clock!

My house is on the market and we have not shown it for a few months...Sooo I relaxed a bit any way I am going for a walk with a friend I haven't seen for a long time and my son calls...Mom they are showing the house in 2 hours!!!
Horrified I had to cut our walk very short and race around the house to make it PERFECT. (by the way, they don't look in your car, under your bed, and if all fails black bags stashed in the basement work too) I had to stash dirty laundry (1 bag) the x pen in the living room, the ramap on the end of my bed for the pups to get up! Dog creates, toys, you name it it got stashed...(Don't even ask me where it all is cause i already can't remember! )
These people show up and I am leaving with the dogs for a walk. I go around the block (5 min tops) and they are leaving as I get back! All that work so they can look for 5 min... HUH what a pain!!!! I hope this house sells soon... I can't take it.

Uggh. I hated having to always be on my best "behaviour" when selling a house so I know what you mean...Hope your house sells soon!

That's the worse part about selling, knowing anyone could just drop in at moments notice and inspect everything. It's a buyers market too. So many people are selling homes and "staging" them where it looks like someone lives there, but no one actually lives there. One company went so far as to hire actors to pretend to be the house owners, with mother busy in the kitchen making chocolate chip cookies. When buying, I could always get by the mess, but if it smelled, I was out of there. Good luck with your endeavor, I think I'd rather remodel.

Well the realestate wants us out while they show. So I was trying to grab both dogs and get harnesses on and man it was a scramble! Poor babies were like what the heack is wrong with Mom! But they loved walking around the block!
