| Luna's loosing her teeth, is that why she hardly eats? I just noticed today that Luna is missing some teeth and two are loose! I think it's so adorable, since it's a sign that my baby is growing up! However, the fact that she hardly eats now makes much more sense. Is this common and what should I do? Thanks for you help in advance!

| Dean lost his two front teeth! (The bottom row.) I noticed they were loose about two days ago and have been waiting for them to fall out ... don't know where they are; haven't found 'em yet. Maybe that's why he's been so irritated when he poos? He still inhales his food though. He does sleep a lot though -- not hypoglycemia b/c he doesn't shake, gums are fine ... do they get sleepier when teething? I couldn't tell with my other pup b/c he was wild even when he lost teeth and before he started his teenage stage... |

| Very common It's very common for a yorkie to lose their appetite around teething time. Also, I notice they sleep more too, so don't worry. They'll grow out of it fast. How old are they when they start losing puppy teeth? |

| Dean is 21 weeks. He lost his first two bottom front teeth yesterday or today and has some more loose! He's been playing tug of war a lot with my larger terrier mix ... guess that's helping ... maybe I won't have to PAY to have 'em pulled. |

| My Mia My Mia is 19 weeks yesterday, so I guess I should start watching for them to get loose soon. I've never had to pay to get any of my dogs' teeth pulled, praise God!!! lol Hopefully not with Mia either. We'll see. My Mia loves to play tug of war. We just got a new golden retriever, 6 weeks old, and they play great most of the time together and play tug of war alot. lol |

| Toto acted just like a "cranky baby" when she was teething! Drooled all the time, ran little low grade temps and napped more. She had two sets of teeth for awhile and then lost a few of the little ones. Dr. Lucy removed the rest when she was spayed at about 8 months! We got the little finger brushes and massaged her gums ... she loved that! We gave her soft foods and just endured it!

| Luna is approaching 5 months, I just noticed yesterday that all he bottom teeth are loose now. She is missing one on the bottom and like 3 on top... I gave her soft food with her pebbles and she devoured it! Later tonight though, she spit up twice. Not sure if it was the food affecting her stomach since I changed it up a bit. I haven't noticed if she has been sleeping more... perhaps because I'm not home as often as a month ago.

| Gucci is teething also Gucci has lost her bottom front teeth and some on top. She has double teeths also, I hope they fall on there own. She has being sleeping a lot and has poor apetite. She doesn't let me touch her mouth when I try to check if they are loose. She just closes her mouth as soon she sees my hand getting close to her mouth. She still in treatment to cure her ringworm. Im so mad with the breeder, he promise to help pay some of the vet's bills because Gucci cought the ringworm when she was with him, and he still haven't. A week after getting her and at the vets office I noticed a bald spot that turn out to be a bad case of riongworm. My poor baby lost a lot of hair on her back; now is growing back but very slowly. |

| Is there something wrong with Dolce or me?? I havent noticed her lose ANY teeth. I have checked and to me they look like they are all still there. She is a little over 5 months, but she chews EVERYTHING! I know she is teething but i thought she would have lost some by now. How can I be sure she has lost teeth?? She hates when i look in her mouth. |

| Higgins lost his baby teeth late......didn't start losing them until he was about 7 months old. For about a week he had both sets and looked like a little piranah! All the little ones came out fine, but we had to have his 4 canines removed when he was about 8 months old. |

| Ok, so I wont get too concerned until she passes the 7 month mark and she still has all her baby teeth!! There is no way I could ever have all her baby teeth pulled when she gets spayed...thats why I want to wait until most fall out on their own before I take her to the vet and spay her. We'll see....all the things she chews on though you'd think she would have NO teeth!!

| If your feeding puppy hard food then mix it with some water to soften it up. Also provide chewing toys or greenies. Chelsey is teething right now as well. She is getting them in as fast as they are falling out. |
