| New Yorkie I have just purchased a Yorkie two days ago who had her first vacination three days ago, the breeder told me to feed her dry pellets but she doesn't want to eat them, and vomits if she does eat. Could it be the vacination that is making her nauseous??? |

| Hi and welcome to YT If she doesnt like the kibble your feeding her... maybe you should consider a different brand of food, or even try softening the kibble with a little water or chicken broth... that might help. If she continues to vomit, I would definately take her to the vet... hope this helps

Donating YT 30K Club Member | I would try wetting the food or giving a little bit of a different food and also get a vet check as soon as possible.

| I have also found that sometimes you have to buy a feeding dish like the one she was used to eating from. new dishes for food and water scare them in their new homes for a few days. |

| Alexus Feeling Better Thanks everyone who responded to my note. I did take my little one to the vet last night just to be on the safe side. The vet says she is very healthy and suggested I boil some chicken fillet and boil some rice for her. This did the job she ate and hasn't vomited again. |

| when you go back to the dry food, try smashing the pellets up smaller so it can be easier for her to eat. Sometimes it hurts their teeth when they are babies. But go into the dry food slowly. taper off on the boiled chicken after a few days and try leaving some little bits of rice in the dry food. Do the transition slowly. Good luck!
