| Maximus is getting pretty bad about biting... well more like nipping fingers. I think its because he is teething and he likes to chew them but whatever the reason it hurts when he catches me off guard! Any suggestions??

| You can respond the way other dogs would respond to him...yelp loud and thump his nose...not hard, and say no very firmly. I watch my mommies play with the pups...they only tolerate so much. They get them by the neck and pin them to the floor, sometimes they take a paw and thump the nose, or get in their face and growl. Anyway they correct them, the pups gets the message, MOM isn't happy and they settled down. |

| You can try to put some bitter apple on your fingers. We put this on our toes when chachi would nip at our feet and it worked.

| It only took twice of this method to get coco to stop. She was the official ankle biter but now she's perfect. So when she bit I would put a drop of bitter apple on her tongue. It only took 2 drops in one day for her to get the picture. Now when she sees the bottle she just sits and licks. It's great.
