| OMG! I think I may be allergic to Izzy?? I have been sick every since Ive had her with no explanation. Ive had no fever, scratchy throat, cough. I dont know what to do?? Ive even had a shot last week to give my immune system a boost with no change at all. What do I do? Im trying to consult with the Dr right now. Lets hope this is not what it is.

| Sounds like you have the same sinus/upper respritory thing that just about everyone else in the country has right now. My husband and I both have it...should last several weeks before you finally get over it. I hope that's all it is..... |

| Ive never really had any other animal in the house. Weve got 2 other dogs outside but we just got them within the last few weeks. So really weve not had any dogs for several years until the last few weeks . My friend works at the Dr office and Dr seems to think its allergic. Ive been tested for flu and strep. Had a shot of steriods and taken meds with no change.

| I have to agree with others i have the respiratory thing and it is hard to get rid of Also i have a allergy to dogs but i take claritan everyday. My allergies are a little different though i break out in itchy hives. I have to agree with doc though you are allergic to Izzy and no meds will help the only thing you can do is let Izzy come live with me instead of the doc lol

| Sometimes it isn't the dog one is allergic to, but what the dog has picked up outside on it's fur..........grass, pollen, dust and so on. Is the Dr. going to give you the allergy test on your skin? |
