| too cold! i live in tallahassee, fl so it's not as cold as up north (with snow and such)... but it has been getting down to the 30s and 40s, which is cold for us floridians! lol. anyway, Kash won't stay outside long enough in the mornings and nights to go #2. and i know that he has to go, especially in the morning. he will pee (pretty quickly), but then he immediately wants to go back inside because he's freezing (and so am i). sometimes i'll stand outside anyway while he scratches at the door to go back in to see if he'll get the point and just GO #2, but i end up standing in the cold for nothing. then he poops inside where he shouldn't... any ideas about this? i've heard that training them to go both outside and on pee pads confuses them. thanks!

| Maybe you need to get him a little sweater so he stays warmer while he is outside. You need to get him to stay out long enough to go also walk him around to get it stimultated so to say!! My only advice is bundle up...sorry....probably not what you were looking for. Also since you live in Florida like myself I would say no need to worry about potty pads unless you are restricted to an appartment or something that only allows you to use them. If you can train for the yard I say go that route. Our winters are short and sweet so the cold weather is only temporary and usually last only a day or two. Good luck!

Belle is trained inside and outside, and she isn't confused at all... she goes on her pad inside, and outside when we go for walks... not on my floors, etc... i've heard great things about the washable pads...
