| My poor baby I took Evie to the vet today.. all I have to say is poor girl I took her to our Petsmart vet cause I wasn't ever too fond of Kayah's vet.. I do have to say.. I really like it there.. not only am I there all the time anyway.. now we will be there even more Everyone there is so nice and helpful and the vet explained EVERYTHING to me like to a little child (which is what I need). Needless to say, I am transferring Kayah over too Anywho, everything was fine and dandy until they had to check Evie's temperature.. oh I've never heard her cry so much.. Then the Doc showed me exactly how to pluck her ears.. again.. ouch!!! they poured some type of saline (or something in her nose).. and gave her a dewormer orally.. my poor baby.. That's not all.. They checked her for Giardia and checked her stool.. oh and her ears too Turns out.. she has an ear infection.. So, I have to pour this solution every other day into her ears.. and give her five drops (in each ear) twice a day.. I feel so bad for her. Now, I know they can be sluggish after shots sometimes.. but when she comes to me to be picked up.. as I'm picking her up she yelps and she's sooo sleepy

| Poor little thing! It's no fun going to the vet when you're itty-bitty. What you describe reminds me of one of Archie's early visits -- I remember him getting the stuff poured in his nose, too. I think at the end of it all he crawled right up my body to the "safety" of mommy's shoulder! Evie will be back to normal in no time, I'm sure!

| Aww poor little baby! They plucked chewy's ears once and it was horiffic... NEVER AGAIN! I know your baby had an ear infection so maybe it was a must, but my two have never had ear trouble and IMO I see no need to pluck. WHen they did it to chewy his ear bleed!!! I was so upset by it I won't ever do it again.
