| So not all yorkie remarks are bad :D so today i was coming back from a walk, and i see someone who lives in my building, and we were talking... i know we usually get the negative remarks about how "she couldn't possibly be a Yorkie, bc she's not "teacup" sized...blah blah blah" anyways... so i'm talking to him and he tells me how adorable and smart Bellie is, and i comment on his doggie as well (he rescued an adorable mix that he found at a restaurant) and he wasn't ignorant how refreshing to find someone who compliments rather than compares to the "magazine" image... thought you guys would appreciate a nice story about a ppl encounter, it seems most times or at least the times we post it is bc people have been mean and tell us nasty things about our babies... so i have new hope for the non-yorkie world teehee

| I know for most it's not often but it is nice to hear good remarks..Lily is a little bigger (about 7.5lbs) and people always have comments about her weight. But then again she gets comments on how pretty she is! So you're right, all people aren't so negative towards our babies!

| Belle isn't quite a teapot either, she's only 8lbs, and i think she's still small... but this guy was super nice, it made my day -- i had come to dread encounters bc i was just tired of having to explain, "there are throwbacks sometimes, they used to be bred bigger than they are now, there is no such thing as a teacup..." but i'll keep doing it, there are so many doggies in my community, i'm bound to find another yorkie lover there soon, although (and i've only been there two weeks-ish) i havent found any yorkies in my building yet, lots of shih tzus, a king charles spaniel, a couple of mixes, malteses... but no yorkies yet, i live in a pretty affluent community in north miami, so i'm sure i'll find a yorkie buddy soon
