I have heard of many people asking for a puppy cut and getting a shaved dog. It's good to take pictures and be specific, for example short hair on body, but long on legs and face etc.

I love that cut, too. My husband calls that the Clydesdale cut (from the Budweiser horse), but Maxwell doesn't have enough hair to have a cute cut like that, I don't know why.

My groomer does Sugar sort of like that- short on the body, longer on the legs. If his legs are cut short he looks like a bobble head. She calls it "sort of almost a lamb cut" whatever that means.
