| ![]() I feed royal canin small breed puppy to my puppies and at 10 months switch them to Royal Canin for Yorkshire Terriers. I have never had an issue with gas. |

I never understand why some vet's push such bad food for our furbabies!! I use Chicken Soup....Buddy loves it!!!! The only time he has smelly gas is from certain chewy treats!!!! Good luck!!!!

The premium foods are made by smaller companies that may not have a very good quality control system because it is expensive. These companies also call their meat human grade when there is not really any such thing... So I think it can be better but since we aren't in the factories, we don't know.

| ![]() I use Iams Puppy. I was raising Goldens and changed their food to Sci. Diet. The smell about run us out of the house !!! I changed back to Iams and it was 100% better. My girls have always ate Iams and they only poop once a day. Plus they get a vitamin each day. I agree it could be the change.

| ![]() I agree with this and it was probably the change in food that did it. Yorkies have very sensitive stomachs and any change in diet will cause havoc to their intestinal systems. Just incorporate what you have with more of the old food you got from the breeder and "slowly transition puppy to the new food".
