| My husband didn't want to let him go! HAAAAA!! So I posted a few days ago that my husband wanted to get rid of Maverick b/c of the potty training issues and the fact that he chewed up the carpet in one place and that he barked when we were gone. So I reluctantly put an ad in the paper to re-home him and I even posted something here in the YT for sale forum. So the ad went in the paper yesterday and right off the bat I got two phone calls. I called my husband....I was at Walmart...and said that I had already gotten two calls for Maverick and I wanted to know what he wanted me to do about it. WELLLLLLLLL guess what??? He said "No we can't let him go, I would actually miss him, he'll get better I know he will" I can't tell you how freaking excited that made me. I didn't want to get rid of him at all but I also didn't want it to cause problems. BUT he changed his mind and he loves Maverick just as much as me I think. The BIG BAD MARINE couldn't resist the little doggie! So I just wanted to let you all know I appreciate everything you said and all your advice and it all worked. So now I just have to keep working on the potty and crate training and everything will be great! |
