| One of my favorite things to do is watch Tatum run through the yard! She bounces like a rabbit. Especially pretty to watch now that her hair is long and it just flows along with her. I'm always fearful for a hawk or owl seeing her bounce around and thinking she's a bunny rabbit or squirrel and come swoop her up (we live in the country). But fortunately all I've seen out there is buzzards and I'm told that they only hunt out the dead stuff. Let's hope that's true. I still keep a close eye on her though just in case.

| Higgins literally FLIES through the air. You can see all four feet off the ground! The raptors always worry me, too. At home in Maine, we have a HUGE owl that pretty much hangs out in the trees in our yard, so we just don't take him out at night.....let him go on pee pads inside. And I hope that buzzards don't go for living stuff because there are a bloody blue bunch of 'em here in Florida! |

| I can just see Higgins "flying" through the air. We are building a new house and living with my MIL while building. This is out in the country and our houses are about 10 acres or so apart. My girls like to ride their bikes up the hill to our new house just so they can fly down the hill again. Tatum will run so fast beside them that it looks like she's literally flying. You barely see her feet touch the ground and she can even run faster than they ride down the hill! It's a sight to see!

| Mine does the same thing! I think the Rottweller next door thinks she is a rabbit. It scares me, so usualy, i bring her to the back yard. He can't see her there. Can't believe how fast they are! What wonderful personalities they have! Pat |

| Watch out! You guys that live in the country, better be careful with your little ones. I live in the country. too. I see hawks, eagles, owls, and even ravens look at my little gurls a little toooo closely, not to mention coyotes! Needless to say, I always stay with them, never let them out of site. I've heard too many horror stories of animals taking little dogs. You always have to be alert of their surroundings. They are so vulnerable! |

| Oh yes, we have coyotes in the area so Tatum is not out of my immediate sight in the dark hours. We have buzzards but haven't seen any hawks but know they have been around. I get nervous even when I see the buzzards though. It's a little nerve wracking living in the country and having to watch her so closely.

| Jumping Nala does the pouncing thing. And she also likes to fly through the air. Thats where I got the name Nala she reminded me of the Simba's girlfriend on the Lion King. She sweet and innocent, but she hang in there with the "boys". |

| Saw in the paper just yesterday where a Pekenese was picked up by an Eagle in the drive way and somehow got loose and made it back home after three days. The vet is the one who speculated it was an eagle due to the claw marks on her. I had an owl come after my other little dog, almost right in front of me.. I had to duck and yell like crazy, and I live in the city here. Albeit not a big city, but a city never the less. Pat |

| Just want to warn those that live in the big cities to watch for birds too. I live smack dab in the middle of the Dallas ,Fort Worth metroplex and we have a hawk in my neighborhood. I have spotted him in my yard several times. I don't think it 's big enough to pick Mia or Bentley up but it is a very scary thought.
