| I have a chocolate, they have no health problems any different then the tan/blue yorkie. The second question I don't think you would get anyone to answer on this board. Most people think that only non-reputable breeders would deliberately breed the chocolate yorkies. I don't agree with that myself but if anyone were intending on breeding chocolates they probably wouldn't mention it here. Do you want a chocolate or do you already have one?

| I do not have a chocolate currently but I was looking into getting one. What is wrong with breeding them if they are just as healthy as the standard.I think it is worse to breed little 2 to 3 lb dog that is obviously not as healthy as a bigger dog and call it a tea cup then to bred an off color healthy standard size dog and have healthy puppies. |

| The problem most people have with the chocolates, is breeders will go and up their price and say they're rare..they can't be shown, so therefore, the prices shouldn't be any higher than what you would pay for a standard yorkie, Infact, should be lower priced because they aren't standard |
