I've always used a washcloth on the eyes and mouth but for the ears I have those cosmetic cotton pads and fold them in half and put them in their ears. Then I rinse their face, squeeze off excess water and then pull out cotton(pretty quickly after so the cotton doesn't get completely saturated). I have never had a problem since doing it this way. |
I haven't read the other posts and I'm not sure how others do it, but i bathe maggie in the kitchen sink and I use the sprayer on very very low pressure and put it right up to her muzzle being sure it is not near her nostrils. the water reaches all parts of her muzzle and rinses it really nicely and I have never had a problem. I am paranoid too...but this seems to be the best way for us! and I use a baby toothbrush to do the face washes in between baths....it really makes it so much easier!!! |
