I think before to much longer I am going to have to find a new home. There are other big dogs (strays) in the neighborhood that are jumping on him I dont know what to do. Any suggestions (he is only 6 mos old) I dont know what else to do as we dont have animal control in this town

Do you have a fence around your yard? I would definitly put up a fence to keep the bigger dogs out, and never leave him outside unsupervised. We live in a townhome so we can't put up a fence, and there is a forest that runs behind the houses across the street from us, we have coyote, deer, hawks, and who knows what else. I just never take them outside unsupervised, and always have them on a leash. Yeah I have to take extra precautions, but I couldn't rehome my babies because of it. Hope that helps

I can't imagine trading Pixie after 6 months! 6 months!!!!!!! That is such a long time! I became attached to Pixie after the first day and can't imagine being without her. People need to think before the leap and get any kind of pet. Pets are a responsibility and a privilege, not a right! No wonder there are so many rescue dogs out there!

SO true! I love all of my kids (2human and 3 fur) soooo much! If anything happened to any of them I would be devastated!

I agree!! I think people get ideas from the media that trading is fine...like the trading spouse show? what is up with that kind of show? I know it is not permanent..but still odd to me....
