| Cosmo August 2005 I just got my new Cosmoplitan magazine and while I was flipping through I saw a "Hot and Cold" section (like cool and uncool). ( page 49) Anyways, they have a category called : Ever-Present Celeb Accessory Cold - Coffee Cup Hot- TEACUP pup!!!!! (This is why we have so many people thinking the term teacup is correct!!!) But on a happier note, they have one of their models posing with a yorkie! This is on pages 200 and 203. So that was cute, but i just had to share! |

| Write them a 'note to the editor' and tell them about it. Teacups are exactly that, cups you put tea in. May be they will do some research on it and it will get some big exposure.

| I saw that too, I think what they were trying to do, was use a play on words because the "cold" was a cup of coffee and the "hot" was a teacup pup. But I thought the same thing. And who knows maybe if someone were to write them about the phrase, they'd put a little article in the "You Tell Us" section. And there would be a statement in the beginning to help people see what the phrase "teacup" is doing to the small dog world. The yorkie on the pages in the back sure is cute! Donating YT 14K Club Member | I agree with Lily's Mom and Jesscruz. Teacups are NOT fashion accessories. Those are what you drink tea or coffee out of!

| Please don't get mad at me, I'm just commenting that sometimes new terms are phrased and they stick. I don't think the term teacup is going to go away anytime soon.

| ok fine, they called a dog a teacup. More importantly, they called it an accessory. Let's all write to them. Mindy - can you post the address?

| You're right though, a dog is not this years fashion accessory only to be tossed out next year!

| OKay I found the e-mail address to write to in the "You tell us" section. It is : youtellcosmo@hearst.com .....Hopefully we can make a difference. I agree about the accessory issue. It does seem more pressing, but it would be nice if we could throw in there something about puppymills or something. You guys rock! |

| email ok just sent them one here is the jist of it I find it very offensive that you would ever list another living being as an accessory that is like calling a child an accessory
