| Weight as an adult I know there are some calculators to give you the aprox. weight when my puppy is grown. I have used them but , i don't trust them. I figured with some of you guys experience, we could come up with something more accurate. The mom is 4.5 pounds full grown and the dad is just under 4 pounds. The sister is 3.5 pounds. At 4 weeks our puppy weighed 5.5 ounces. Just wanted to get some of your opinions on how much we might expect her to weigh. Thanks in advanced |

| Well, Chloe is about 7 lbs and her parents were 4 and 5 lbs, so I'm not sure you wouldn't have to go back further than the parents to be sure. Chloe was 3 lbs at 13 weeks and I remember the vet guessing 7-8 lbs when I brought her in at 10 weeks. I hoped she would be smaller but she's still a small dog and I don't have to pick her up and put her on the bed like Lacey. |

| I was at the Vet today to take out Desi stitches ( she was fixed on Monday). In the waiting room was another Yorkie, a little 4 year old boy, but what surprised me was that according to his owner he was 5 lbs yet he was smaller than Desi who is 3 1/2 lbs. While we were talking I asked her if she was sure he was 5 lbs. on account of him being so tiny. She told me she was pretty sure but that she would know when she went in to see the doctor and weighed him. Well, when she came out she confirmed that he was indeed 5 lbs. Now, how is that possible I tell you, he was considerably smaller than my 3 1/2 lbs. girl. |

I have a question/comment for you. I think your Desi is one of the cutest dogs I have seen. Could you post more pictures of her? How old is she now? | |
