| I've used Simplicity 3925 and tweaked it a bit. Some people like their dresses a little longer than they have them, I just learned how to make them longer. 1. Dresses I made with the Pattern 2. The pattern 3. LilyGrace (Jenn 218's baby) in a longer version. This pattern is easy and you can do alot of things with it! You definetely need a machine, though!! It looks like the pattern didn't attach. I will find the link you can click on.

| Thanks everyone, I will look into getting a cheap machine to start with and hopefully once I make something I'll take pictures to show you how horrible at it I am!! I'm actually looking for a pattern for a tshirt, since Henry is a male, and I figured a shirt would be easy to start with?

| You're welcome! I mainly use this little pattern to make fleece "sweaters" for Scout, he hates anything restrictive. If you cut it out of fleece, the only sewing you have to do is Velcro on the closures. OR You can make it look more finished if you cut it out a little bigger than you really need and cut two pieces and sew it right sides together leaving a small opening to turn it right side out. Then iron and sew on velcro closures! Easy and cute!

| Just went to Joann fabrics and they have the simplicity patterns 5 for $5.00. I got 4 diffrent packs... This will be my 2nd attempt at using patterns . I made my daughter a dress when she was 4 and needless to say I didnt do so well Had to crump her lil arms in different positions to get her in it lol.... She wore it once...

| Another way to get a pattern is to buy something at Petsmart or Petco that you really like. Lay the outfit down on newspaper and make your own pattern. I am forever buying a cute little dress and then using it for a pattern and making my own alterations and adjustments. It is really lots of fun once you get into it. My favorite place to shop now is the fabric store. How sad!

| i just finished another Sophie dress; unfortunately my attention was into "My big, fat fabulous wedding" (those girls are ridiculous.) and it came out a tad bit small. Oh well, she'll get a few days use out of it the way she's growing haha |

| If you want to learn to sew for your furbaby I would recommend Simplicity patterns. JoAnns is having a sale thru Monday on Simplicity patterns 5 for $5.
