![]() well.......... i have the new pics of toby with his new haircut.. BUT i took the pictures with my new camera and the file size is 611K, dont know how to downsize it....... ![]() ![]() But on my excursion to get toby's new barrier gate i found some conair clippers that have all the different extensions for $20, so im thinking maybe those would come in handy when hes older.........???? do you guys think ill need them? i dont want to end up spending two hours cutting his hair in the future, clippers would be so much faster........i havent gotten them yet, i am sorta waiting to see what you guys think (im on a limited budget and will probably never end up paying for an actual groomer) but i dont want to get them.... and not need them..... so let me know if i should

![]() Great posts everyone. Very informative. I've been struggling with the groomer issue myself. Lexi went once and had an upset system for 2 weeks afterwards. I've been looking on the web for sites that might have pictures or instructions on grooming yorkies but haven't been too successful. Does anyone out there know of any they can point me towards?

![]() Oh Gosh! It sure did help me! I was so afraid of puncturing the ear drum. You don't know how wonderful it is to know that. I had never heard of that in 49 years of having dogs! What a relief! I was told to pull out the hair in the ears, so that's why I did. Will take a wait and see approach now. The anal glands I am waiting on too. She has scooted her butt a few times, but I just waited and apparently she kept care of it, because she quit. The vet also said when they have a B.M. That usually that will cear the glands. I had to "do" my Peke's anal glands after they got infected when she was about ten years old. So, if possible, I will leave her anal glands alone. Thanks for the name of the powder. I have written it down and will ask my druggest for it. Thanks so much for the help! I really appreciate it! Pat

![]() I found two sights that I really like about the Yorkie and grooming. kFirst is " Golden Ray Yorkies and the secone is Rhapsody Yorkshire Terriers. Just put them in your search engine and they will come up. They are great sights. Sometimes I can spend hours going through them. They don't show you pictures of clipping, but tell you pretty much how to do it. I had one that showed pictures once, but I can't find it now. Pat
