They might NOT read them - but they WILL get the point and that's what counts - if ONE person at that station takes a minute to read - they can learn and share and maybe NOT promote Petland anymore - the more people who email - the better to show how MANY people are offended - if they think they're losing listeners - they may stop.

Hey, Villette, in the subject line, I put Petland Advertisement. Let me go copy one of the letters. It was short but to the point.

Mr. Karwowski,

I realize that you are a very busy person but I hope that you take the time to read this. I have been informed that you have an advertisement running on your radio show for PetLand. I also realize that radio stations cannot exist without the funding they receive from advertisements. Please allow me a few minutes of your time to share with you the kind of place that PetLand is.

Petland is the pet store that gets their dogs and possibly cats, from horrible breeding centers called puppy mills. A puppy mill is a place where dogs are bred simply for profit in terrible conditions without concern for the welfare of the animals. The lives of the female puppy mill dogs are sad ones as they are forced to produce pups until they no longer can. The living conditions of these dogs and pups are horrible. I will not go into great details because I am sure that you've heard of or seen on the news how puppy mills operate.

I hope that you realize that your marketing team made a bad mistake in allowing air time for Petland. I hope that all of their advertisements are stopped and in the future they are not allowed to purchase advertisements from you.

Wellll...not to be a pain - but we could BOMBARD them with calls if they want to put their phone numbers out there for all to see - :D
