| Training Issues Need Help hi i am new to the training business and been reading all sorts of info on the next about how to train my yorkie. Nolen is about 7 months old or more. i got him from my parents who had difficulty training him. Right now temperature in labrador are quite cold and he can go out for just a few minutes. We started using a litter box and he will poo in the litter box and pee sometimes. we have him confined to the porch. He will bark when he uses his litter box so then we reward him with a treat. we tried letting him loose but no luck he will not go to the litter box. when he is outside sometimes he will go there. He is not neutered yet in the process. i understand that this may be one issue. i feel that being confined to the porch is cruel but i guess that how it has to be. i am open to any suggestion. I would love to have him roam the house and spend more time with us. Is it ever to late to train a yorkie. THANKS EVERYONE. |

| You first need to decide if you want the dog to go outside or use pads/litter box. Mine go outside online. If you would like advice on that (I used crate training and tethering) I can help you. Others can give advice on pad training. Sammy came to be at about 10 months old NOT housetrained. It took us about 6 months to get her trained. Both of my dogs ring a bell to go outside. It is possible!!
