Adie is sometimes Nummy Stubs while Cassie is most frequently called "Box of Rocks". I admit she isn't the brightest dog in the world but she is the sweetest. Ivan is called Ives and Moose. Which aren't as bad given his 112lb frame. He used to call our basset Bucket Head!!!!!!!

Does anyone else have to put up with this crap?

LOLOL I'm sorry I'm laughing, but I'm the one in the house that gives Baby 101 nicknames. She responds to all of them. It's probably the tone of my voice, though.

oh my goodness your husband reminds me of my father so much. Dad has a nickname for everyone that steps foot inside our house (at least it seems like it). Boyfriends, friends, mom, brother, me, dogs. Its crazy... he calls Oliver my yorkshire terrier 10 lbs Tank and George our 110 lbs black lab/chowchow Hamster. haha

I'm the one that has the nicknames for Conner - Con Man, Peanut, Mama's Boy, Lil Guy, Cutie, Button - and I'm sure there are more!!

You guys are so funny! Thanks for posting your names. My dh also creates songs and poems. I didn't tell you that his names evolve.
We had a beagle named Buddy. That got changed to Scruffy then to Weeble (he was getting porky and weebles wabble but they don't fall down.) The it went to Squeeble. Then finally Squeebs. I know he does it out of affection and I don't really get mad at him - just a bit exasperated. LOL.

Ok telling on my hubby he does the same thing and I found this thread a week ago and I have been monitoring him ever since so I could write the names I can remember because every day it is different but the number one thing Mark calls Bleu

1. BO SHIZZLE SHIKADIZZLE (he hates it) (barks and barks) I have to calm him

2. Mr. Float
3. Mr. Tooty Patooty
4. Mr. Flip
5. Ninny Sugar

I am sure there are more. The number one name drives him insane ... He hates it and I have to get Bleu and baby him cause daddy is messing with him.

My mother had a dog and when we said the word DUMMY she went absolute nuts! Bleu reminds me of her her name was "DD" which stood for Daddy's Darlin! I miss her she was a pekignese and she was my childhood dog I grew up with. I would always says.. "SISTER LOVES YOU " COME TO SISTER" SISTER IS GONNA GET YOU" OR DO YOU WANT SISTER TO GET YOU ICE CREAM!! I miss her

I don't know if it's a Chicago thing, but my husband does the same danged thing He's from the North Shore His whole family has nicknames for everyone! They call my dogs the rats

Anyway, if we all posted stupid husband alerts at the same time, I bet we'd crash the server
