| So sorry to hear what happened. Puppy Tino has a black diamond collar on at home and a harness when we go out, should i take the collar off when hes at home, he has nothing to catch it on and i do not lock him away at all.

| I am also paranoid and when they're in the house I try to remember to take the collars off. How tragic!

| That is so terrible! I NEVER leave collars on any of my dogs for that reason. We live in the country and have a lot of room to roam, so we have 5 big rescue dogs that live outside. Our yorkie of course, lives inside. NO ONE wears collars, ever. Cats either. |
