| I can relate to that frigid cold weather. The last few days have been horrid here with below 0 temps and as low as -50 wind chills. Last night it got down to -20 something with 50 below wind chill. My dogs won't use pee pads either. How I wish they would!

| Banning Thread Dictator Donating Member | We've been below zero for a couple weeks, not -20, but consistently -5 to -10. They seem to know when it's that cold even before they go outside. Jack just starts peeing on the peepads (if we're lucky) more, and Eddie holds it until I put on his coat and booties. Good luck.

| Only my Pommie, Snowboy, will use the piddle pads and he's the one equipped to handle the cold with his thick coat. The three Yorkies all think they have to go outside and then can't get in fast enough, sometimes forgetting what they went out there for. All the snow this year has been a trial.Joanne |

| Miss Lola is so funny....she will take off running towards the door after her sister Chloe, the Golden Retriever, she will take one step outside, and turn right back around and come back in! We use the pee pads in the winter

| lacey to wants to go out to do her thing, but usually only pees outside and poops in the kitchen and then tells on herself. lol she is pretty good when its not quite this cold out, unless its raining lol. she will go on pee pee pads but uses them only once if there is something on it she will go next to it lol.

| Mine need a little extra encouragement and a good treat, but they will go outside. If there is snow all over the porch, Loki considers 3 out of of 4 feet outside to be "outside" and will just pee on the snow, otherwise he goes over to the mulch next to the porch. Even this morning Sammy was running around outside, sniffing everything... At least they didn't run away when I put their sweatshirts on them. They have been snuggled up in the house though. Usually they follow us from room to room but they just stay snuggled under their blankets!

| Tired of the cold weather too! Was -48 with the wind chill this weekend, Bea won't even try to go outside in that kind of weather. Glad I trained her on the pee pads. Can't wait for spring so we can go outside and play. |

| Luvs Lulu Donating Member | When I took Zoey out this morning it was 11 degrees here....she looked up at me and dug her heels in. I know she was wishing some hateful stuff on me for dragging her out of her down comforter and into the cold. She did go in a record time and looked at me like...oh I did it. She is not a puller but she sure hauled ass this morning and tried to get back inside.

| Yup... I'll chime in with complaints about the cold. We have had temps at 50 below with the windchill for 42 days straight now. Even we hardy Northerners are getting sick of it As for my girls, they don't even realize that its cold outside. They are pampered pee-pee pad princesses

| OK I think Sammy is crazy. She pees as soon as she goes outside. Then she bounces around the yard (I know she needs to burn some energy, but it's cold!!) She even plows through the snow banks! After 5 minutes she decides her feet are too cold and she stands there lifting one paw until we come rescue her. She would be FINE if she would just pee and come back in!!! She is good for 5 minutes before she starts to get cold. What on earth is wrong with her? I think it's just a fun game!
