| ![]() Welcome and congratulations on your little Joe. It takes a special person to rescue little guys like Joe, and I know he's a happy fellow now. He sounds like he's adjusting really well (except for your bird ![]() I can't offer advice about your gp, but I think putting him up high for now is a good idea. Post more pics when you can.

| ![]() My puppy and my moms cat did not get along very well. My dad put them together slowly, if they constantly show discomfort, just keep them separated. It probably would be a good idea to put your guinea out of Joe's reach for now, until he can learn that the guinea is also part of your family. It could be that he came from a bad background and doesn't know any better. I'm glad that he's found a wonderful home!

| ![]() Welcome to YT! I think it is great that you've given Joe such a loving new home. No advice on the guinea pig, but I would never completely trust any terrier who was not raised around small animals. Hopefully someone else here will have more personal experience with that. I see you got Joe on your avi! Great job, he's a cutie.

LOL, I can relate to the back of the furniture thing. Ginger thinks she is a cat and spends a lot of time on the back of chairs/sofas etc. We joke that she plays "hot lava" because she often runs all over the living room without touching the floor. ![]() I'm heading off to look for your gallery pics. If you need help posting pics in the thread, I'll be happy to assist.

| ![]() Ah, the chair, the sofa!! Yes, yes! My Bubba even likes to lay on the back of a sofa that is up against a wall. But looking out the window is rather difficult without a chair or sofa for these little ones. Mine love it. I know they are not alone ![]()
