| Dangers of Puppy Training Class I recently enrolled Chloe in an intermediate puppy training class, and now I'm having second thoughts. The beginner class didn't involve the dogs interacting, but the intermediate class is primarily the dogs interacting. My concern is that Chloe is the only little dog. These dogs play pretty rough with each other and Chloe is often stepped on. Do you think this is more dangerous than helpful? |

| I would be very worried about that. The classes out here actually separate the dogs out by size for playtime, as a small dog can easily get hurt if it gets in the middle of the rougher pouncing play. The instructor was very specific about separating the dogs out. They even have playgroups here according to size. |

Banning Thread Dictator Donating Member | Yeah, if the dogs aren't separated for size, I'd be worried if they are playing off-leash. On leash, you should be able to control the interraction.

| Even if it is just being playful, a large dog can seriously hurt your little gal. I would request that you possibly go to a different class that has more smaller dogs in it.
