| Done growing? OMG - Bailey is 7 lbs now and he turns 6 mo on the 13...am I in for any more growth or is he about done? Also - When we picked bailey out the bunch he was the one his brother kept jumping on, but he never wrestled back,he just walked off. He ended up being the SWEETEST, the is the most laid back yorkie ever; not too wiggly, not too aggressive (stubborn maybe) and just knows how to sit down. Should I still go ahead and still neuter at 6 mos....I am not having any testorterone troubles and I dont want him to be totally lethargic since he is already atypically not as energetic. |

| He will probably grow more. Some lines of yorkies stop growing early while others continue growing for a while so its hard to say. I have a feeling he'll probably gain another pound or two at least before he's done. I would definitely go ahead an neuter him. The longer you wait, the more chance of behavioral issues

| My Tucker was the sweetest most sensitive one in his litter too. When you would pick him up, he would just cuddle and cuddle with you. Not his brother! He didn't want to be held and he also jumped all over Tucker and would back him into corners. I suppose that's the main reason I picked him. I did not want a very dominate dog. He really is the sweetest! I plan on having him neutured as soon as the vet will let me (in about three weeks) I figure that will help to keep him sweet. I mean why chance it ya know? |

| It depends on your dog, but I think he'll probably grow more. Penny stopped growing height-wise around 7-8 months but filled out a bit after that. Riley is almost 16 months old and grew a half-inch in just the last month or so! I would recommend getting him neutered. It is the responsible thing to do as well as helping with possible behavioral issues down the road. |

| Also, neutering greatly reduces the risks of cancer and other health problems.
