| bring dog food when you fly??? I am thinking or switching to Natures Variety for my gang but there are absolutely no stores that carry it here in Saskatchewan. My mom is down in Chicago(Palos Heights) visiting her aunt and I wanted her to buy some samples and bring them back on the plane. Is that allowed? How would you keep it frozen? I called the airline and they weren't that helpful....has anyone tried this before? |

| I understand that as long as it isn't animal bi-products ( like bullysticks or chicken strips) that it is fine. I know I have sent things like cokkies across before. You can call Canadian board crossings to make sure. I live in Northern Manitoba and there is limited food here. Check at your vets office. A lot of the time, they can order food in. Good luck!

| If the frozen Nature's Variety doesn't work out, I believe that The Honest Kitchen will ship it's freeze-dried raw to Canada. I love The Honest Kitchen foods and my girls are doing fabulous on it. Very easy to use since all you do is rehydrate when ready to feed. Good luck!!!
