YT Graphic Artist Donating Member | Puppy losing her teeth? Has anyone else seen this? Li'l Sapphire is now almost 5 months old. Yesterday, she was playing with the other dogs and it looked like she had something in her mouth. Upon closer inspection, I found it was one of her baby teeth. Then I looked in her mouth, and three or four of her top front teeth were gone! Does this just happen on its own? She does play rough tug-o-war sometimes with the younger puppies (both bigger than her) so I was wondering if that could have done it? I know they are only baby teeth, and they will grow back, but I worry that the other puppies are maybe too big for her to rough play with? I have tried to separate them during their rough play, but she just loves to be a part of it, and I'd hate to take that fun time away from her.

| Sounds perfectly normal to me. At that age my babies were losing their teeth left and right and I was finding them all over the house - LOL! I'd rather they come out on their own than have to have surgery to remove them

YT Graphic Artist Donating Member | Thanks guys. I thought it was normal, but I never did find any of my Shadow's baby teeth. We didn't get Gellica until she was 2 years old, so this is my first puppy in 7 years! Yeah, it's been awhile, but this time I'm doing the puppy thing times three! One at 5 months (Sapphire) and two at 3 months (Phantom & Brandi) so I'm sure there'll be many more questions! Thanks again
