 Puppy losing her teeth?
Has anyone else seen this? Li'l Sapphire is now almost 5 months old. Yesterday, she was playing with the other dogs and it looked like she had something in her mouth. Upon closer inspection, I found it was one of her baby teeth. Then I looked in her mouth, and three or four of her top front teeth were gone! Does this just happen on its own? She does play rough tug-o-war sometimes with the younger puppies (both bigger than her) so I was wondering if that could have done it? I know they are only baby teeth, and they will grow back, but I worry that the other puppies are maybe too big for her to rough play with? I have tried to separate them during their rough play, but she just loves to be a part of it, and I'd hate to take that fun time away from her. |
