| lump on Mascot's neck..... Hi there, I have a question. Mascot has a lump on the back of his neck somewhere between the neck and the left top foreleg. It moves somewhat like a human gland.... like when we have a sore throat and our glands get swollen. Do Yorkie's have glands there? It wasn't there yesterday. A little past history, Mascot has been sick with Giardia. He just finished up the last of his meds 2 days ago but still has diarehea. The giardia never affected his appetite and he was never lethargic. We have only had him for a 5 weeks. We think he had the Giardia when we recieved him. The breeders have disconnected their #'s and I can't get a hold of them unless I drive to there house and it is far away.... I should've done more research on them. Anyhow, I would never give Mascot back, I wub him way to much.... I just wanted to let them know that they may have more sick pups to care for. I have to take Mascot back to the vet again with another stool sample to recheck for Giardia. Bless his lil heart. So I will have the vet check to see what the lump may be. Any ideas???? Dot

Phantom Queen Morrigan Donating Member | did the vet give him any injections in that area when he was there last? if not, check the lump really well to see if there is any outside cuts/rash/bruise/etc. if there is nothing on the skin and the lump is just under the skin i would take him to the vet. He's too young to have a fatty lump so i doubt that's what it is.

| The breeder is in NC, just not the same area as me. Or I should say was there. Now their phones are D/C, maybe they are completely gone. Mascot is doing better today. His poo seems to be a little more consistent, but still isnt firm. I guess I will take another sample in to the vet just to make sure he is clear. I am pretty sure now that the spot on his neck is from the shot. I never even thought about that. Thank you so much for your responses. Dot
